Cephas Atsu Edinam Agbefu

Atsu is a well-rounded designer and team leader with a proclivity for smart working and creative problem solving. He has over 5 years experience working with CAD software and over two years of professional experience. He Joined Incept in the summer of 2018 as an intern and became a fulltime project architect in 2019 with extensive hands-on experience in site supervision and detailed construction works. Prior to that he successfully pursued undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in architecure from KNUST.
Atsu subscribes to the “form follows function” school of thought. His design approach leans mainly on bridging the gap between clients’ aspirations, existing site conditions and sustainable design principles. He considers a good design one that satisfies all these parameters creatively to produce an aesthetically pleasing solution. His design is influenced by Feng shui philosophies and he seeks to create a Zen environment within his buildings. He particularly enjoys collaborating with professionals across various fields and has successfully led teams that are constituted of individuals of diverse professional backgrounds.
Atsu’s vision for the future is a future where people live harmoniously with nature as a result of intentional design and intelligent engineering. He hopes to contribute towards the realization of Net-zero energy communities and hopes to revolutionize the way commercial and industrial buildings are designed to make them greener.
When he is not working, Atsu enjoys visiting art galleries, hosting and organizing events, watching and playing football and handball.
